On this World Judo day we have this great news from Paraguay.
I am pleased to report that for World Judo Day, today we are inaugurating the first of two Sculptures in memory of Jigoro Kano, founder of our Sport. On such a special occasion, the work of the Sensei and educator of that city, Mr. Miguel Ángel Arrúa, was also recognized, for the more than 40 years dedicated in an integral way, with all the moral values ??that the teaching of Judo implies.
This ceremony was held on October 28 (Word Judo Day) at 09:00 in the City of Concepción. Without a doubt and with the passing of time, this event will be registered as a Historical fact within Paraguayan judo and we are also sure that it will be a source of inspiration for future generations of practicing our sports discipline.
As a Federation we are very proud to be part of this humble work of art within sport, but of great spiritual value for judocas.
